What we actually do

We're a referral service. You tell us what's wrong, we hand it to one local insured roofing pro, they come look at it for free, and you decide what happens next. That's the whole business.

The "one" is deliberate. Fill out a form on most lead sites and your number gets sold to four or five contractors who then compete to reach you first — which is how homeowners end up fielding calls for a fortnight over a $600 flashing repair. We send it to one. If they can't get to you, we'll say so rather than widening the net behind your back.

What we're not

We're not the contractor. We don't inspect roofs, we don't repair them, and we have no crew. We don't decide insurance claims and we can't promise one gets approved. We're also not a licensing authority — Pennsylvania doesn't issue a statewide roofing license, so anyone advertising as "licensed roofers" in this state is being loose with the word. The contractors we refer carry insurance, and you should verify that yourself before work starts.

Before you authorize anything

Whatever brought you here — leak, storm, roof age, a home purchase, a patch that didn't hold — the useful details are the specific ones. When does the water show up, which room, what was the weather doing, what's been done up there before.

Then ask the roofer three things: what could you see, what couldn't you safely reach, and what evidence supports what you're recommending. Photographs of the actual defect. Not a number produced from the driveway.
